*** In recognition of Armed Forces Day 2010, the Lafayette Band's third annual ARMED FORCES SALUTE CONCERT honors the U.S. Armed Forces--past, present and future. The evening's event will include a stirring concert of patriotic and popular music, with special guest performance by The Hummingbird Trio. Several military, veterans and youth training units will participate in opening flag ceremonies and military memorial ceremonies during the concert. Additionally, there will be contemporary and historical military equipment, uniforms and memorabilia on display. The concert is made possible with a grant from the North Kingstown Arts Council and Centreville Bank.
