Musician and Information for Rehearsals and Performances
Please arrive 1/2 hour early for all performances and 1/4 hour early (6:45pm) for rehearsals.
Concert Dress (Sept. - April)
Long sleeve white dress shirt, black slacks, black socks, black shoes (no sandals), black bow tie (supplied by band for each performance), red vest (supplied by band for each performance). Return bow tie and vest at the completion of each performance. Concert Dress (May - Aug.)
Lafayette Band short sleeve white polo shirt with Lafayette Band name (must be purchased through band), black slacks, black socks, black shoes (no sandals). Remember to bring music stand and clothes pins for music to performances. Unable to Attend a Performance
If you cannot make a performance that you have previously signed up for, you must contact the Musical Director (Joe Pelosi, 884-8956) or the President (John Smith, 946-5855) as soon as possible. It is your responsibility to make sure that your music is available at all performances and rehearsals that you are unable to attend. Cancellation due to Inclement Weather
If a rehearsal or performance must be cancelled due to inclement weather, the phone chain will be activated and an e-mail and website posting will be done if possible. All attempts will be made to make cancellations no later than 2 hour prior to the rehearsal or performance.
